I know… it would appear that I only sew any more. Well, that’s not entirely true, but I’m on a roll. My current project has almost 1,000 individual pieces of fabric and I’d really like to have this put together before it gets cold. Don’t sniff at me, from where I sit at my computer, I can see the trees across my street starting to turn colors.
I tried chain piecing on this project for the first time. I’m not sure that it’s speeding the process along, but I don’t have threads all over the house, so that’s a plus!
I bought a jelly roll for the blocks on this quilt and then yardage for the borders and binding. I feel like I already have a lot of leftover fabric even though I did cut extra since I’ve never made this pattern before… those 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch squares are tiny! I’m planning to make coordinating Christmas stockings with another of Camille’s patterns, so it won’t go to waste!
